Stone Oak Athletics Association, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c) 3, is currently offering youth and adult sports leagues, youth cheer, and developmental camps & clinics. SOA hopes to offer a variety of other sports programs in the future. “Our goal is to offer a quality, comprehensive, and competitive environment to our athletes by incorporating team building, instruction, agility training, nutrition, and citizenship into all our programs,” says Tony Warren, founder and executive director of SOA.

Athletes are welcome from all parts of San Antonio and surrounding areas. SOA has a very talented group of volunteers working to make it the premier youth sports organization. We celebrate our volunteer coaches and assistants that help us continue to grow. All of our administrators are parents or coaches who have tested other sports leagues and are searching for something more family-friendly and more dedicated to children learning the sport that they are passionate about. The success of SOA is made possible through the efforts of all the staff, coaches, players, team managers, volunteers, and parents.

SOA takes our community efforts seriously. SOA offers scholarships throughout San Antonio for deserving athletes who are approved for assistance through their school district. The company has already distributed over 400 scholarships since 2009 to athletes who are now enjoying their time learning the sport, participating, and positively utilizing their time after school and on the weekends. SOA has enjoyed the opportunity of partnering nationally with various city housing authorities to work within the communities to provide at-risk youth a comprehensive program of educational enrichment, nutritional guidance, job search and life skills training and civic awareness & education. The youth who are involved in the programs are given the opportunity to participate in team building activities and are mentored by local community leaders, sports figures, and entertainers who can provide them with useful advice, career guidance, and academic instruction.

SOA was awarded management of Brooks City Base Health & Wellness Center. The center is a full service fitness facility which also offers the amenities of an all-weather outdoor running track, football and soccer fields, as well as tennis and basketball courts. Through this newly renovated and remodeled facility, SOA embraces the opportunity to provide a total fitness experience for the entire family. This newly acquired facility is located on the historic Brooks Air Force Base, now called Brooks-City Base, in San Antonio, Texas.

SOA fully recognizes the importance of building community partnerships. The SOA website contains information, advertisements, and useful links for many of our local businesses. If you would like to support SOA’s community efforts but just don't have the time to commit, we also gladly accept monetary or in-kind donations. 100% of all funds received are applied towards programming and community events to enrich children’s lives. And remember, all donations are tax deductible. For more information, please email us at info@stoneoakathletics.com.

We sincerely appreciate your support.
