Fall 2013 BASKETBALL
Fall 2013 Basketball season games begin on September 28th, and the end of season tournament is the weekend of November 16th & 17th. Parent Orientation will be September 11th and Coaches’ Orientation will be September 12th. There will be individual orientations for our north, south, and west locations. You are highly encouraged to attend your own perspective orientation. Our North League services the NEISD, JISD and CISD areas with games and practice locations at NEISD schools. Our West League services the NISD area with games and practice locations at NISD schools. Our South League services our south side of San Antonio with practices being at HISD schools or Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center, and Game Locations at Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center at 2860 Louis Bauer Dr. The league is open to boy and girl basketball players from 5-16 years old. Parents or adults wishing to volunteer for basketball or cheer during the Fall season must contact the league as soon as possible at 210.775-2807 for registration information. SOA provides a highly competitive yet nurturing environment, offering All-Girls, and Co-Ed Beginner through Advanced Divisions in many of our age groups. Included with every registration is 7 league games, a high quality reversible jersey, 1 hour secured practice location with their team, and an end of season single elimination tournament in which all teams participate, plus the possibility of your team being invited to our Best of the Best Tournament facing all of our area winners! SOA FALL 2013 CHEER PROGRAMS
SOA Fall 2013 Cheer Programs runs in conjunction with our Fall 2013 Basketball season. Girls will cheer during our Fall Season Basketball games. Parent and Volunteer Orientation will be held on September 11th. There will be individual orientations for our north, south, and west locations. Our South League services our south side of San Antonio with practices being at HISD schools or Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center, and Game Locations at Brooks City Base Health and Wellness Center at 2860 Louis Bauer Dr. The SOA Cheer Program gives young ladies from 5-12 years old the opportunity to learn basic cheer moves, cheer etiquette, and the basic knowledge of the game of basketball. Included in the $150 registration cost are:
-Weekly cheer practices
-Cheer Uniform including top, bottom, and shorts
-Pom Poms
-Mega Phone
-10+ Cheer Games
-Opportunity to Cheer at SOA North League Basketball Games & Tournaments
-Opportunity to Cheer at the AT&T Center
Young ladies will also have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming SOA Cheer Camp. Registration for cheer is now open online.
SOA SOCCER
As one of the fastest growing sports in America, Stone Oak Athletics is pleased to announce that we will be offering soccer to our current program offering. Just like martial arts, soccer has proven to be extremely popular with both boys and girls and provides a fun outlet while still promoting the benefits of team work, discipline, coordination, physical conditioning and social interaction.
